Schrödingers Katze
Heute möchte ich eine der berühmtesten Katzen der Welt würdigen: Schrödingers Katze.
I like the idea of superposition -
when the cat in the box
is both dead and alive,
is neither dead nor alive,
until we look
and the cat’s unbeing-beingness
collapses to yes or no.
There are moments I wish to keep like that -
to preserve the unknowing.
Like when you were ill
and the phone brought fact,
but until it rang,
both states were possible.
